Job Summary
We are seeking a Wordpress Developer with knowledge of WordPress development (including WooCommerce)
responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes from
designs provided by the UI/UX Team. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely
advanced php5, CSS3, JavaScript and AngularJS along with basic working knowledge of PHP) and
responsive web development. The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and
content management systems. Experience with the responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred.
Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and
deployment is preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties

Designing and implementing new features and functionality for Web Portals, Web Apps, Websites,
WordPress based Websites and other projects.
Establishing and guiding the projects architecture based on the design provided.
Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the WordPress CMS
Knowledge of WooCommerce framework to be used with WordPress CMS.
Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme using various
plugins and coding knowledge.
Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest trends and techniques in your
industry’s standards.

Qualifications and Skills

Skills

Good understanding of front-end technologies, including php5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
Experience building responsive user interfaces for websites, web portals and web applications
Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms
and browsers

Ability to convert comprehensive layout mock-ups and wireframes into working web pages.
